  • Joseph Francomano served as executive vice president of Junior Achievement for 44 years and helped the organization reach major milestones through his leadership and foresight. He was instrumental in ensuring the transition of Junior Achievement programs from after-school programs to in-school programs. The Achievement Foundation has established a scholarship in honor of Mr.  Francomano. This scholarship recognizes his 50 years of dedication and commitment to Junior Achievement. Al Bright, a member of the Achievement Foundation Board of Directors, graduated from the JA company program and was mentored by Mr. Francomano. He later became a successful artist and educator. In memory of the many students who Mr. Francomano influenced, Al had two portraits commissioned. Professional reproductions of these portraits can be purchased by clicking here.
